Beautification Project

It’s been an adventure living into the reality of worshiping in our own building. It’s amazing that two years have passed since we moved in. We’ve benefited from the space to worship, to eat, to meet, and to learn. Folks outside our church have complimented the beauty of the architecture on many occasions.

We have made an investment that reflects the beauty of our Creator. Several months ago, I reflected on the need to continue to steward what God has given us. I recognized (like many of you) the holes in our landscaping and that resources are needed for an effort to “green” the building, providing trees and bushes and grasses that will reflect His beauty and will testify to His Creation.

Gary Wydman agreed to lead a team to help us with this effort and they’ve been hard at work. Now, with this team, the Beautification Project will be launched on Sunday.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • You’ll have an opportunity to hear from this team present an orientation to the project.

  • Gary and his team will be available in the narthex on Sundays to answer any of your questions in the weeks to come.

  • You’ll have an opportunity to pray for the project, give financially, and get your hands dirty as we install and maintain the plants.

Our hope is that as we “green” the building, the reflected beauty of what He has created will be a reminder of God Himself.

Would you please pray about how you might be involved?

I’m excited to see the finished product!

Peace,
Justin+
